My career in customs spans both sides of the border. After serving as a government customs official for eight years, I transitioned into the private sector to manage process development and analysis for large-scale, global supply chains.

This background gives me a unique perspective: I know exactly what customs authorities look for during an audit, and I know exactly how an operational delay impacts a company’s day-to-day business.

Because I have a background in management information systems and data automation, I don’t just point out problems. I build automated, scalable systems to fix them. I started Customs Brief to provide trade leaders with clear, actionable analysis and straightforward strategy without the unnecessary fluff.
